it was like ... cool. unfortunately very game-like, but especially that desert scene almost looked photorealistic. and the audio was great, too! i'll make an exception here and give it a thumb up ;)

very nice demo! the nice motion blur makes me feeling fully doped ;)

probably that was an another 3d-story attempt, but they ran out of time/motivation/ideas and decided to just play it backwards instead of doing a proper ending.. or maybe it was meant to be this way and I'm just missing some idea. 8) it has some nice almost-video quality 3d, cool (if a bit too much bjork-inspired) cyborg and okay music, but kinda misses the spot.

Well, those photorealistic 3d scenes worked pretty well for me. Music was also quite nice. It's true that it seems rather hurried, but overall I liked it very much. I'd hate to compare it to some other prod that ranked higher. :-)

Finally, It kinda bothers me that suddenly Bjork has gotten the exclusive copyright to use androids in any production. Like here for example. :-/

Oh, and be careful of the broken screenshot...

i'm happy you like it. the guys have been working on this for quite some time, and bigben made a fix at the end so fast that i can hardly believe it.

i like this prod. it's fast, shifting and the several styles are all very nice blended. and the music is very good, too!

I have a 1.2GHz TB armed with GF2 GTS and 256 Mb DDR and it still crawls :(
...but I liked it. Good soundtrack and lots of work behind those visuals. more please, but in a bit lighter vein what comes to HW requirements, since a newer GF is not on my 'to buy' -list. all in all, jerky but cool.

it works perfectly here on 1ghz/geforce1, even in 1024x768. you better get yourself more ram :)

robotriot: guess I should. would 512 megs be enough?
these kind of memory consuming prods drive me to the verge of bankruptcy! ;D
maybe I'll just wait until one of the chinese memory chip factories burns down thus affecting positively on the prices of those little buggers, making the process of buyin them less painful...
added on the 2002-04-06 15:19:28 by funktion funktion
i think 512mb is fine, i've got 640mb atm. you shoul've bought them some months ago when 128mb were as low as 10€

My favorite from MS02.

Pumping soundtrack greatly synced to the gfx. The 3D is astonishing (just see the desert chase)

better than the screenshot suggests.

the bad image quality ruined it for me.
(ugly motionblur, the grain didn't fit at all imho)
great 3d-scenes, though

With the right amount of memory this is actually one amazing demo! Excellent visuals, good music and like Jazz said there are a number of different styles, but they flow together very well, and also make for very interesting watching.

I liked it! a lot of good modelling.

It's more like a 3d benchmark. Nothing compare with demo spirit. But... WOW! Really impressive indeed.

very strange and very good, it's gamey but somehow that doesn't break it

what I extremely like about this prod is the rock-solid 60fps framerate, especially during the spaceship/buggy scenes.
I wonder why still only few demos nowadays manage to do so..

Awesome! Tasteful design and visuals. Post processing effects are used well. The non-abstract 3d scenes are a bit bleh though.

great demo, i must have missed this one back then, but really cool, love the spaceships flying, love the ambient white ball scene, and good soundtrack too.

nice to know good cam movements existed back then!
not too fond of the tune, but it fits

nice
undeservedly underrated

Solid work on visuals, music and design, but as noby said non abstract 3d don't fit here well.
