Played it on a friend's PC whose specs I don't know, but: ran terribly slow. Is this intended? And maybe you should go more for good level design than impressive explosions... plus what stage7 said. Sorry.

Building explosions are fine. Fighters shoot yellow bricks :) ? ... it needs more work.

+ The game is actually quite playable
- Autofire.
- SFX (why not using compressed formats, while you're at it?).
- Having all the only level in a 3.3+1.9 megs PNG doesn't seem very wise.
- Too much BIG textures for explosions
- Two huge BMP's in the root dir, what for??
As far as I can tell by examining some pics, this game was intended to have a menu, which I couldn't see (it took a looong time to move from the TJ screen to the "- powered" screen, and from the "- powered" screen to the game itself), but please, for the next try, remember optimization is your friend ;)
37 megs is a bit too much for this, sorry.
