this is the compo version - an updated version with more timing and cgx support will be available through the same link very soon.

Really nice intro! I especially like the scene on the screenshot and the dragon that blows fire. Too bad that ppc and ward 3d was allowed in the same intro compo...
Keep up the VERY good work

this one kicks ass. really.
rulez added on the 2002-04-03 14:41:00 by FooLman FooLman
Yeah, I remember it as a very cool intro and a hard competitor to Planet Potion :)
added on the 2002-04-03 16:07:31 by Crest Crest
Kinda hard for a normal Amiga to compete with a 233MHZ PowerPC. But cudos to Potion!
Well if it wasnt for potion this one wouldve been a classic already ;)

very very cool
rulez added on the 2002-04-03 17:47:02 by lai lai
kicks ass for real amigas (060 + aga), except for the endmusic and the dragon :)
rulez added on the 2002-04-04 00:47:40 by teo teo
teo, i will do a new endmod just for you - and i can only agree on the dragon ;o)
(btw, composing music AT mekkasymp tends to produce crap-results ;o))
added on the 2002-04-04 09:20:23 by booster booster
alright.. 3d only, and not much 'design' so i don't like this thaaat much

well made

nice one, you showed us that o6o-amiga still worth kicking :)

Definitely one of the slickest 3d engines I've seen on the Amiga to date. What's more it all fits into 64k, and doesn't even need a gfx card.

I have put a new version online under the download link, featuring a
CGX version and the usual bunch of additional timing and bugfixes.
It's not final yet, but more like I wanted it at mekka
:)
rulez added on the 2002-04-08 00:23:43 by Psycho Psycho
quite nice but a bit too long...
added on the 2002-04-08 00:55:48 by britelite britelite
psycho, the download link is a direct link to the file and not to the loonies.dk intro-page.. ;o)
added on the 2002-04-08 09:20:08 by booster booster
booster - keen on the new endmod.
and ppl should rather booze outside @ mekka instead of doing things what could have been done AT home too :)
added on the 2002-04-11 15:17:57 by teo teo
Congratulations to the loonies' crew.
This intro rocks but I know that you can improve it a little bit more, pals!

Nice cubist dragon ;)

The final version is now online here.
The design is in improved by additional timing etc, the new endpart (music) is in place and support for machines with only 16 mb fastram or CGX/P96 is added.
added on the 2002-04-20 17:24:12 by Psycho Psycho
..and the original bug was re-introduced in the sample-generator to create the snaredrum ;o)

A technical monster (fast 3D engine, very low requirements), definetely an impressive intro.
rulez added on the 2002-08-18 23:38:57 by shash shash
technically impressive, but that's about it. boring scenes and so-so music track.

Newest WinUAE can run more things (Oh god, when will I get an Amiga accelerator?!) like this impressive demo. 3d flyby with lot's of textrures, smooth, nice camera movements, beautifull!

hmm, i dont find anything to rave about here - perhaps superb code is the thing and mad respect for the speed even on 040/25, otherwise its plain 3D.. dragons and castles ain't my thing either and i didnt like music either.

still - great, enjoyable, well balanced and synced intro, so definately thumbs up for good work and esp for the red mat - loved the colors and lighting in that scene!
