good 3d, but not well designed
I like this 256bytes 3d gouraud polyhedron a lot! You don't see very regurarly 3d on 256bytes...

Zone, what is well designed for you? people usually doesn't like its colors. well, I was so little and I had not much time. it's unopt. yew2 is somewhat better.
I like this object. I learned from Boreal that it's a 'truncated octahendron'. I accidentally found it.
people love 3d in 256b. yew would be the 1st on the party, but there was a 256b with music ;). it's so different, 256b intros with or without music :(.

shr, i am able to write a triangle_fill procedure that has 2400 bytes! therefore a admira your intro as the well. ...as well :). anyway, i'm interesting in 3d in 1/4 kb and might sometime try smth' with wireframe

crs, yew doesn't contain a filler ofcoz, but points. more exactly, big squares. it's rather simple.
but a triangle filler in 2400 bytes... how you did that?! my rotating gouraud shaded cube was so big when I started to code in pure asm! you did something wrong or your filler is special :)
wireframe is harder than points and not so impressive in 256b, I think...

crs: 2400 bytes for triangle scanner-filler?! Wuff... my Z80 version had about 200 :) Of course I don't count unrolled bresenhams... your routine must be special ;]
shr: I apologise, two years ago I run out of ideas and used almost the same design for 1k intro Mathricks for ZX Spectrum :) It does exactly the same with regular polygon filler, dithering etc. Sorry, I give at least thumb up ;]

Shr: 3d bob squares and no polygon filler? Hehe,. I didn't knew that before! Good idea! I also have heard now that the gouraud shading on your intro may be not real, but shading according to Z or something..

Hmm,. I finally guess that polygon filling and things like that, are too much for 256bytes. Most 3d routines I have seen in tiny intros are based on 3d bobs, voxels, e.t.c..

Yeah

Very nice one, indeed it looks like gouraud-shaded polys, but I guess z-shaded pointsprites would give that effect in a fraction of the code size :)

Nice 3D, background is a little iffy.
